Please note that due to our moving our Head Office to Eastlands, our Hobart clinic is only open by appointment. An audiologist will still be at Hobart every week however but we hope that the better parking facilities at Eastlands will make in easier for our patients.
Our Audiologists are NOT on Commission!
AudioClinic Tasmania is an Audiology Clinic which provides honest advice to our patients so that they achieve the best outcome achievable with their hearing rehabilitaion - this may or may not involve the fiting of hearing aids. Many consumers, of late, have brought to our attention their concerns about being "sold" hearing aids for thousands of dollars which don't work! This is distressing for us to hear. Our Audiologists do not get paid commission as we are not a "Hearing Aid Sales Centre" . Aside from hearing aid fittings, we also provide a range of hearing related services such as hearing protection, communication training, Assistive Listening Device selection, to name a few.
Did you know that in Australia, there is no legislation governing who can provide hearing services and fit hearing aids? Be sure to check the qualifications of the clinician that you are dealing with. When you come to an appointment at our clinic, you will be seen by a university qualified Audiologist who is NOT on commission so the advice you get will be given with YOUR best interest at heart! It is important to us that we develop a trusting long-term relationship with our patients and we certainly want you to refer your family and friends so you won't be subjected to a "quick-sale" at our clinic.
We welcome a new Audiologist to the Devonport Clinic!

Haven't seen us in 12 months? We've missed you....
Did you know we recommend you have a hearing check up every 12 months? This is even more important if you wear hearing aids. When you have an existing hearing loss, your hearing can change in months. This means that it is important that we monitor any changes and make adjustments to the programming of your hearing aids accordingly. This way, we are working together to make sure that your hearing aids are always working optimally. One visit could save you from "putting up" with outdated hearing aid programming for years!
Come back and see us annually - call 1800 057 220 to arrange an appointment.
